How to use tape glue
- Q: Are there any tips or precautions for using tape glue?
- AIt will be more comfortable to use if you use it as shown in the illustration below.
-
Open the cap and secure it to the bottom of the main unit. -
Glue will be transferred when you slowly pull it straight backwards.
About the materials and features of tape glue
- Q: What is the material of the glue?
- AIt is a glue made from a light-resistant acrylic material. This material is characterized by low deterioration and long-lasting adhesive strength. Furthermore, Dot Liner uses a non-solvent type glue that does not use solvents that cause environmental pollution during manufacturing. *Excluding dot liner power
- Q: What are the advantages of tape glue compared to other glues?
- When applying A-tape glue, you don't have to wait for it to dry like other glues, and it doesn't feel sticky, so it won't wrinkle easily and won't stain your hands or surroundings.
- Q: What is the difference between "Storng Adhesive type", "strong stick type", and "Removable Adhesive type"?
- A The "Storng Adhesive type" is suitable for applications that require Storng Adhesive attachment, such as sealing envelopes and pasting receipts.
The "Strong Adhesive Type" uses strong adhesive glue, which is more resistant to backlash than the "Storng Adhesive Type" and sticks strongly immediately after pasting, making it suitable for sealing thick or large envelopes.
The `` Removable Adhesive type'' uses a weak adhesive glue, making it suitable for temporary attachment of memos and other applications that will be removed later. - QIs it acid free?
- A: We use glue that contains less acid, which can cause discoloration of photos and paper. (Based on KOKUYO's own standards)
About the features of dot type glue
- Q: Why does the dot type cut so easily?
- AWith conventional tape glue, the glue is connected all the way to the end, but with dot-type glue, each individual dot-shaped (bulk-shaped) glue is applied on the tape so that it is lined up. In other words, there is a break from the beginning.
- Q: Why does the dot type paint so well?
- AWith conventional tape glue, if you don't apply even pressure to the entire tape, the edges and ends will chip, and it takes some skill to apply it in a clean tape shape, but with dot-type glue, each piece is small. Since it is a glue grain, it can be applied evenly with light pressure. Also, the dot type has a smooth adhesive, so you can always start applying it cleanly next time.
- Q: With the dot type, there is less adhesive surface, so don't you worry about the adhesive strength?
- The adhesive strength of A glue is not necessarily proportional to the area. The dot type glue is thicker than conventional tape glue and has the same amount of glue to ensure strong adhesion.
Regarding handling precautions
- Q: Are there any points to keep in mind when using it?
- A: If you use the glue too quickly, the paper may tear and get caught, so please test it beforehand if you plan to use it on something important. Also, avoid using extremely curved surfaces or meandering surfaces. Be careful not to get injured by the tip. Do not disassemble the product as this may cause injury or malfunction.
- Q: Is there anything that doesn't have glue?
- A. The following items are not included.
[1] Paper with oil on it, such as the printing part of color copies or the surface of tack memos
[2] Paper with special surface treatment such as thermal paper or coated paper
[3] Plastics such as soft PVC and polypropylene, and cards laminated with them, etc.
*For materials that are difficult to stick to (other than those listed above), press slowly and pull. It may become easier to attach. - Q: Can it be used in hot or cold places?
- A Please use in an environment between 15℃ and 35℃.
- Q: How many times can the refill type body be refilled?
- A: Wear and tear on the main body may cause the tape to sag, so please replace the main body with a new one, using the equivalent of about 10 refill tapes as a guide.
- Q: Are there any precautions to keep in mind when storing?
- A: Please put a cap on the glue to prevent dust from getting on it or accidentally getting the glue on other things. Also, avoid storing it in places with high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight. Please keep out of reach of children. Please keep away from fire.
